What documents should an estate plan gather?
Beyond the will or trust itself: powers of attorney and healthcare directives, deeds and titles, life insurance policies, a list of financial accounts and beneficiaries, key contacts (attorney, accountant, insurance agent), and access to important digital accounts. Is Haven IQ a substitute for a lawyer or a will?
No. Haven IQ doesn't create legal documents or give legal advice — it organizes the documents and information around your plan so they're current and findable. Your attorney writes the will; Haven IQ makes sure it isn't lost in a drawer.
How would my loved ones get access?
You share deliberately, while you're here: invite the people you trust with the role you choose, down to individual records. There's no automatic release — access is something you grant, not something that happens to you.
Is it safe to store this kind of information?
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, passwords get an additional encryption layer of their own, and your account can be protected with multi-factor authentication. Access is checked on the server on every request. The Security page explains it all in plain English.
