FAQ
Honest answers
The questions people actually ask before trusting something with their life's paperwork — answered plainly.
Who is Haven IQ for?
Anyone with important information to keep track of — which is everyone. People use Haven IQ on their own, as couples, as families, as caregivers coordinating for a parent, and as retirees getting their affairs beautifully organized. If your life has documents, passwords, policies, and dates in it, Haven IQ is for you.
Can I use Haven IQ by myself?
Absolutely. Haven IQ is complete for one person — your documents, your passwords, your calendar, your reminders. Sharing is something you can add, not something the product assumes.
Can I invite others later?
Yes, whenever you're ready. Invite a partner, family member, or caregiver by email and choose what they can see and do. Permissions are role-based and can be scoped down to individual records, so a caregiver can see medications and appointments without ever seeing your finances.
How is my information protected?
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. Vault passwords and household codes get an additional layer of AES-256 encryption of their own. Your account can be protected with multi-factor authentication, access is checked on our servers on every request, and security events are logged. The Security page explains all of it in plain English.
Where are my documents stored?
In private, encrypted cloud storage on enterprise-grade infrastructure. Files are never exposed through public links — they're served through short-lived, permission-checked access, only to people you've allowed.
How does the assistant work?
When you upload a document, Haven IQ reads it and proposes what it found — dates, amounts, renewal reminders, where it should be filed. Nothing is saved until you review and approve it. You can also ask questions in plain language, like “when does the car insurance renew?”, and get answers grounded in your own records.
Is my information used to train AI?
No. Haven IQ uses a leading AI provider under terms that do not allow training on your data. And your stored passwords and secret codes are never shared with the assistant at all — they're encrypted away from it entirely.
What does Haven IQ cost?
Haven IQ is free during early access — every account gets the full experience. A free plan will always exist, and Family Pro (which removes the limits) will be priced before early access ends, with plenty of notice.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no lock-in and no penalty. Your information belongs to you: update it, correct it, or remove it whenever you want.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your household's records, uploaded files, and sign-in identity are permanently deleted right away — there's no hidden copy kept around. Deletion is immediate and irreversible, so we ask you to confirm it deliberately. The Privacy Policy spells out the fine print, including the minimal security audit trail that's retained.
Something we didn't cover? Ask us directly — a person reads every message.
All of life. In one secure place.
Know where everything is.
Start with one thing — the password you keep resetting, the renewal date you keep meaning to write down. Haven IQ takes it from there, one less scattered piece at a time.
